Message from the President
On behalf of the Canadian Academy of Audiology (CAA) Board of Directors, I wanted to update you on what our team has been working on.
March is membership renewal month, and we have created a membership benefit campaign, which I wrote an article for (published on LinkedIn; feel free to read it HERE). As a member of CAA, the benefits of your membership can be broken down into four main categories: education, advocacy, support, and promotion. If you haven’t yet done so, renew your CAA membership today!
In recent weeks, CAA has been a key stakeholder at the various tables supporting and advocating for Ontario audiologists with recent ADP changes. I’d like to thank our team, which has diligently worked on this.
Other work is abundant, which fall into the main categories mentioned above, that your dedicated volunteer Board of Directors and staff at CAA have been working on. I am very proud by all the wonderful work that our teams are doing.
Our speaker selection committee for the CAA conference has mostly solidified another fantastic roster of high-quality speakers for the 2024 CAA Conference – stay-tuned in the coming weeks and months for more information about the program. If you have not saved the date on your calendar, do not forget, the 2024 CAA Conference is being held from October 6th—9th, 2024 in beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort.
Once again, I would like to extend the invitation to reach out to myself if you have any questions, comments, or concerns I would like to bring forward to CAA. We appreciate and welcome constructive feedback on our various projects and activities.
