As my time as President of the Canadian Academy of Audiology comes to an end, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for the journey we have undertaken together. Our shared dedication to enhancing the role of audiologists as primary healthcare providers through advocacy, education, and research has been truly remarkable. Over the years, we have witnessed the transformative impact of our collective efforts on the field of audiology and the lives of those we serve.

One of the highlights of our calendar is the annual conference, a momentous occasion where we gather every October to celebrate the exceptional strides made in audiology. It is a platform to showcase groundbreaking research and innovative practices and a cherished opportunity to reconnect with respected colleagues and friends. The camaraderie and knowledge exchange during these gatherings have fostered a sense of unity within our community.

As we move forward, I am confident that the Canadian Academy of Audiology will continue to flourish under new leadership. Our commitment to advancing audiological care remains unwavering, and I am excited to see the organization reach new heights in pursuing its noble mission. I sincerely thank the Executive Director, Administrative Manager, Executive Officers, Board of Directors, and the many volunteers who serve on Committees, Task Forces, Special Interest Groups and Coalitions. I encourage members interested in working with a team of wonderful, committed volunteers to join us in the future as we strive to create a legacy that will resonate for years to come.

With heartfelt appreciation,

Jillian Price
