This article describes a hearing screening pilot project carried out in November-December 2019 in partnership with the Eenchokay Birchstick School (EBS) located in the Pikangikum First Nations Reserve (Ontario).
We have the honour of being able to interview Bob Joseph who is President of Indigenous Corporate Training Inc which provides training to corporations and government agencies about Indigenous populations.
Recently, Jo DeLuzio had the privilege of providing audiology services to children in Deer Lake and Fort Severn, in Ontario’s far north. What follows was written to reflect what was observed and measured on the children who had their hearing screened or assessed at one point in time. It is not intended, nor should it be used as scientific research data.
